KIND Healthy Snacks announces product recall
KIND Healthy Snacks is voluntarily recalling one of its products – Oats & Honey Granola with Toasted Coconut pouches due to the presence of sesame seeds. The KIND product recall was announced by the company on July 7th, 2020 and announced by the FDA on July 8th, 2020.
Sesame seeds are not listed on the package’s “May Contain” statement.

The recall applies to one product and one flavor – KIND Oats & Honey Granola with Toasted Coconut.
The KIND Oats & Honey Granola with Toasted Coconut product being recalled was manufactured in the US.
According to KIND, the company made a recipe change that involved removing sesame seeds from their new ingredient deck.
The old ingredients were placed into new packaging which contained the sesame seeds.
